Curated Glam keeps the artists we would send a friend to in one place: makeup artists, hairstylists and spray tanners in Melbourne. Around that sits the journal, under the name Curated, and a small shop of things worth a place in the bag.

How the site pays for itself

Affiliate links help pay for the site now. If you buy through one, once the programmes are live, we may earn a commission. You should not pay more because of it, and we do not publish prices of our own. The relationship is spelled out on the shop, on relevant stories, and on the affiliate disclosure.

Premium listings and bookings are the later plan. They are not open, and they will be labelled when they are. A commission does not buy a place in the directory.

The placeholders

The artists in the directory today are fictional. Their names, suburbs and Instagram handles were invented for this first version, and each card says Placeholder. Please do not try to book them. When that banner disappears, real listings have replaced the examples.

The journal pieces are sample drafts, with the same job: to show the Curated: Top 10 and I want to… series before the real essays are filed.
